Meet İlayda Şamilgil, a young genius whose journey is both inspiring and bittersweet. In 2013, she developed a project to measure the water content in liquids using magnets, but TÜBİTAK rejected it. Instead of giving up, İlayda entered the competition “The First Step Toward the Nobel Prize in Physics” and won first place, which earned her an invitation from NASA!

She was recently recognised by Forbes magazine as one of the young female entrepreneurs under 30 who could change the world. İlayda’s current project aims to convert the kinetic energy of water into electrical energy, creating a sustainable energy source.
