Eskişehir has another reason to celebrate as Osman Sıtkı Mert, a dedicated teacher known for his exceptional work in educating gifted children, has once again made waves, this time in the United Kingdom.

Osman Sıtkı Mert, a primary school teacher at Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce Elementary School, has been named a finalist for the prestigious “Cambridge Dedicated Teacher Awards 2024,” presented annually by the University of Cambridge to teachers who have made a significant impact in their profession.

This year, our esteemed teacher rose to the top out of 14,800 educators from 141 countries across five continents, securing a place in the top 10 teachers in Europe.

This is not the first time Osman Sıtkı Mert has been recognised for his outstanding achievements. Last year, he was honoured as Teacher of the Year and also received awards from Dubai.
